WHY DESIGN?
Since a young age, Cassie knew she was made to create and help others. Choosing design allowed her to channel their creativity while still being able to problem-solve with people in mind. Cassie was also drawn to the versatility and ever-growing opportunities in the design field.
SPECIALTIES IN DESIGN
She enjoys UI/UX and Illustration.
FAVORITE PLACE IN MUNCIE
Her favorite place is Minnetrista! She loves visiting the Bob Ross Experience and taking walks there.
FREE TIME ACTIVITES
She loves reading and writing, adventuring outdoors, going to concerts, finding new coffee shops, and playing games.

Maddy's specialties are publication, typographic design, and advertising.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Her aspirations are to continue expanding on their skills and work in the sports industry or teach graphic design at a university level.
FAVORITE PLACE IN MUNCIE
Her favorite place in Muncie is The Cup in the village for a coffee and
a bagel.
WHY DESIGN?
She chose design because they've always used art as a creative outlet since they were little and the possibilities are expansive.

FREE TIME ACTIVITIES
Anna enjoys taking her dog on walks in the park, spending time with friends, and watching football with my dad.
WHY DESIGN?
She has always loved art and being able to create something unique to her. Graphic design gives her a way to express her ideas in ways that she can’t get from a different art form. She also chose design due to all of the different possibilities in life and career that it offers.
FAVORITE ARTISTS/DESIGNERS
One of her favorite artists is Henri Matisse. She had a project my sophomore year of college where they used Matisse’s use of organic shape as inspiration. She researched Matisse’s work for the project and became a big fan of his use of color and shapes.
FAVORITE PLACE IN MUNCIE
Anna's favorite place in Muncie is the Ball State campus. The scenery throughout campus is very pretty so she enjoys taking walks or even just driving through it.

WHY DESIGN?
Chrissy chose design because they've always had an eye for type and design as well as a passion for art. She's wanted to be a graphic designer ever since they learned about it during middle school.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
After graduation she is interested in finding a job on the East Coast and continuing to learn and develop their own style and approach
to design.
FAVORITE ARTISTS/DESIGNERS
She loves Jessica Hische's typography and many of Chip Kidd's book cover designs. Recently they followed Meike Hakkaart and Maxime Manga on Instagram, who both have an illustration/composition style that she is
obsessed with.

Chrissy's specialties are in typography, layout, and identity design.

ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Hannah hopes to work in at a design agency to learn all options of design, but she hopes to be a specialist in conservation or small
business design.
SPECIALTIES IN DESIGN
Hannah enjoys illustration, web design, and non-profit branding.
WHY DESIGN?
She likes how broad design can be. From posters, packaging, branding, and so on, there is always more than one medium or campaign for design.
FAVORITE ARTISTS/DESIGNERS
In Illustration her favorite artists include Gabriel Picolo, Mona Finden,
Heikal, Sweeney Boo, and Jonas Jödicke. Her favorite board game designer
is Anne Pätzke.

WHY DESIGN?
Aaron has always loved art and design, but didn't have a specific medium they felt drawn to. They decided on design because of the variety of influences you can pull from, and the versatility in type of work
SPECIALTIES IN DESIGN
He enjoys the variety of design fields, but feels the most drawn to branding, logo design, and packaging design.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
His goal post-graduation is to work for an agency in Chicago or NYC. He'd also like to create as a freelance multi-media artist and designer in their free time.

Gracie are that she have been doing colorguard for over 10 years, she once had to get 5 stitches on her forehead, and she currently has 10 tattoos.
WHY DESIGN?
Gracie chose design because art has always been a big part of her life and design allows them to express herself in a more unique way than other traditional art styles.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Her aspirations in design are to continually improve her skills and be able to apply them to whatever her future holds, hopefully by a beach or somewhere warm with lots of travel opportunities.

Olivia's specialties in design are poster design, typography, illustration, and motion graphics.
WHY DESIGN?
She chose design because they enjoy the flexibility that comes with design to be able to do a variety of projects and exercise multiple skills while still being available for other opportunities.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Olivia's aspirations in design are to be able to work from home while working for a design firm so that she can work with the flexibility design offers.
FREE TIME ACTIVITIES
In her free time, she likes to studying the bible independently and having bible studies with other people, decorating cakes, cooking, and traveling to see brothers and sisters in Christ.

Adi is a fan of 80s-90s pop culture, technology, and clothing, and she hates the taste or smell of anything minty.
WHY DESIGN?
Art has always been apart of her life but she wanted find a way to work with technology as well and graphic design was the perfect combination of both.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Adi hopes to work within the video game industry as a graphic designer and learn how build code by hand to create interactive visual content.
FREE TIME ACTIVITIES
She loves to play video games like Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and Minecraft and watch documentaries on any subject. She also loves to do huge 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. She read non-fiction novels as well as audio books.

Kyra has always loved art and the process of creating pictures. She chose design because they love to create art, and design allows them to help and inspire others.
FAVORITE PLACE IN MUNCIE
She enjoys any area with a calming and quiet atmosphere. On campus they love visiting Bracken Library or Christy Woods, and off campus she likes to
visit Minnetrista.
ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Kyra wants to get their designs out into the world in a tangible form, such as posters or book covers. In addition, she hopes to work on logos or book covers.

Trinity specializes in logos and illustration.
FUN FACTS
Trinity has a rabid obsession into Nintendo media, mostly Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and Kirby. She's listened to hours of facts about each and can rattle them off like a walking nerd encyclopedia.

Her favorite artists are Hayao Miyazaki, Yuji Uekawa, Sidu.

ASPIRATIONS IN DESIGN
Charolette would like to make movie posters or video game posters. Working in the entertainment industry is a goal.
WHY DESIGN?
For her, it was a way they could have fun. She could put meaning to their designs and make something beneficial.

Charolette loves Taylor Swift. She is a dog person, a Star Wars fan, and if she could she would always be listening to music.

Taylor has a twin sister and a younger sister who also attend
Ball State.

She did a graphic design vocational program in high school for 2 years, and they have loved it ever since.

Taylor wants to continue to expand their skills and gain experience
in the field.

Makinzee's favorite hobbies is crocheting, but recently they have enjoyed learning film photography.

Her favorite place to visit in Muncie is Northern Tropics Green House because you can never have too many plants.
WHY DESIGN?
Makinzee chose design because it is constantly changing and evolving. They consider themselves a lifelong learner and this a quality in graphic design.

Makinzee has a twin sister, a certified scuba diver, and they enjoy traveling.
